Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions outline how we work, what you can expect, and the responsibilities of both Paintegrity and the client. By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking services, you agree to these terms.
1. Company Information
This website and the services described are operated by Paintegrity (“we,” “our,” “us”). We serve Ottawa, Ontario and surrounding communities.

2. Services Provided
Paintegrity provides professional residential and commercial painting services, including (but not limited to) interior painting, exterior painting, staining, coatings, surface preparation, and minor repairs.
The exact scope of work, surfaces included, products used, number of coats, and scheduling expectations will be defined in your written quote, invoice, or project agreement.
3. Estimates & Quotes
All estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation. Quotes are based on the information available at the time of quoting, including photos, walkthroughs, measurements, surface condition, and client-provided details.
A quote may change if:
- The project scope changes (additional rooms, surfaces, repairs, etc.)
- Unforeseen conditions are discovered (hidden damage, moisture issues, failing coatings)
- The client requests upgraded products, finishes, or schedule changes
We will communicate any required changes and pricing adjustments before continuing with additional or modified work.
4. Scheduling & Access
Project start dates and completion timelines are estimates. Schedules may be affected by weather, drying times, site access, safety requirements, material availability, or project complexity.
The client agrees to provide safe access to the work area during scheduled hours. Delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or last-minute client changes may require rescheduling.
5. Client Responsibilities
To help the project run smoothly and safely, the client agrees to:
- Remove or protect valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings near work areas
- Provide access to required spaces and surfaces (including parking/building access when applicable)
- Inform us of known issues such as leaks, water damage, mold, asbestos concerns, structural movement, or unsafe conditions
- Ensure pets and children are kept safely away from active work zones
Paintegrity is not responsible for delays, defects, or failures caused by undisclosed or pre-existing conditions.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your quote, invoice, or agreement. Deposits may be required prior to scheduling or prior to work commencing. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final payment is due upon project completion.
Late payments may result in additional fees, paused work, rescheduling, or collection actions where appropriate.
7. Changes & Additional Work
Any work not included in the original written quote is considered additional work. This includes additional rooms/surfaces, added coats, extra repairs, significant prep beyond what was visible at time of quoting, or new requests after work begins.
Additional work must be approved by the client before proceeding. We aim to keep everything transparent so there are no surprises.
8. Warranty & Quality of Work
We stand behind our workmanship and aim to deliver a clean, durable, professional finish. Warranty coverage (if provided) applies only to work performed by Paintegrity and only under normal use conditions.
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, impacts, scratches, or abuse
- Moisture, leaks, condensation, or water intrusion
- Structural movement, settling, shifting, or cracking of underlying materials
- Failures caused by previous coatings, poor substrate conditions, or third-party work
- Client-supplied materials (paint, primer, patch, etc.) unless agreed otherwise
If you notice an issue you believe is related to our workmanship, contact us promptly so we can assess and advise next steps.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paintegrity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
Paintegrity’s total liability for any claim relating to the services provided will not exceed the amount paid for those services.
10. Insurance
Paintegrity maintains insurance appropriate for professional painting services. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
11. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or last-minute rescheduling may result in fees to cover booked labour time, preparation, travel, or materials already purchased for the project.
12. Website Use
Our website content is provided for general information purposes and may change without notice. By using our website, you agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or misuse the website
- Copy, scrape, or reproduce website content without permission
- Use the website in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website content (text, design, graphics, logos, images, and branding) is owned by Paintegrity or used with permission. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
14. Privacy
Personal information submitted through forms, email, or phone is used to respond to inquiries, provide quotes, schedule work, and communicate about services. We do not sell customer information.
